Palace Hofburg, where the TU Ball takes place!

One of the largest palace complexes in the world: formerly the residence of the imperial family, today a hotspot for museums, politics and events.

The TU Ball, ball of the Vienna University of Technology, is taking place again in the Hofburg and combines tradition with youthful flair. All information about the program highlights, tickets and prices, dress code and much more can be found here.

Students: 50 euros
TU Vienna staff: 70 euros

Tickets can be purchased online until January 7th, then in person, by phone or by email.

The TU Ball has been taking place on the last Thursday in January in the Vienna Hofburg for over 30 years, including this year. This tradition goes back to the “technical circle” of the Polytechnic Institute since its founding in 1815.

With its musical offerings, the elegant ambience of the Vienna Hofburg and the coveted ladies’ donation, the ball, which combines science and technology on the dance floor, is very popular.
